5. Membership Programs

Use of Lakebound's subscription tiers (Explorer, Voyager, Lakebound+) is governed by the Lake Lovers Membership Terms & Conditions, which form part of these Terms.

Membership benefits, pricing, and availability may change at any time.

6. Partner Listings & Third-Party Services

The Platform includes listings and services provided by third-party partners, including:

• Hotels and lodging providers
• Marinas and boat rental services
• Restaurants and dining establishments
• Fishing, hiking, boating, and outdoor guides
• Outfitters and experience providers

Lakebound:

• Does not own or operate partner businesses
• Does not guarantee availability, pricing, or service quality
• Is not responsible for partner actions, omissions, or policies

Your interactions with partners are solely between you and the partner.

7. Bookings & Transactions

Bookings made through the Platform may be subject to:

• Partner-specific terms
• Cancellation policies
• Fees or deposits
• Seasonal restrictions

Lakebound is not responsible for:

• Partner cancellations
• Service disruptions
• Weather-related changes
• Refunds or disputes between you and partners

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
• Misuse discounts, credits, or Membership benefits
• Interfere with Platform functionality
• Attempt to access restricted areas or systems
• Upload harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content
• Harass or harm partners, staff, or other users

Lakebound may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

9. Content Ownership & License

9.1 Your Content

If you submit content (reviews, photos, messages, etc.), you grant Lakebound a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for Platform purposes.

You represent that you own or have rights to any content you submit.

9.2 Lakebound Content

All Platform content, including text, images, branding, guides, itineraries, and software, is owned by Lakebound or its licensors.

You may not:

• Copy
• Modify
• Distribute
• Reverse engineer
• Sell
• Reproduce

any part of the Platform without written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by the Lakebound Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available."

Lakebound does not guarantee:

• Accuracy of listings or content
• Availability of partners or experiences
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That the Platform will meet your expectations

Travel involves inherent risks. You assume all responsibility for your choices and activities.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lakebound is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Partner actions, omissions, or service failures
• Travel disruptions, injuries, or property damage

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Platform is to stop using it.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lakebound harmless from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your interactions with partners
• Your violation of these Terms

14. Changes to These Terms

Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Termination

Lakebound may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Platform at any time for:

• Misuse of Membership benefits

You may stop using the Platform at any time.

Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in that jurisdiction's courts.
