Partner Agreement
The terms that govern participation in the Lakebound Partner Network for marinas, restaurants, guides, outfitters, hotels, and other service providers.

1. Partnership Overview
This Partner Agreement (“Agreement”) governs participation in the Lakebound Partner Network (“Partner Network”) by marinas, restaurants, guides, outfitters, hotels, and other service providers (“Partner,” “you,” “your”). By joining the Partner Network, listing your business, or using Lakebound’s partner tools, you agree to this Agreement, as well as the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any applicable Membership Terms.
“Lakebound,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Lakebound platform and its operating entity.
Lakebound connects travelers with curated lake-focused businesses, including lodging, marinas, dining, guides, and outdoor experiences. Partners may participate through:
- Subscription tiers (Local Partner, Featured Partner, Premium Partner)
- Premium hotel revenue-share tier
- Seasonal campaigns and promotional programs
Participation is voluntary and may be modified or terminated by either party.
2. Eligibility
To join the Partner Network, you must:
- Operate a legitimate business in good standing
- Provide accurate business information
- Maintain required licenses, permits, and insurance
- Offer services that align with Lakebound’s brand and quality standards
- Agree to comply with this Agreement and all applicable laws
Lakebound may approve or deny participation at its discretion.
3. Partner Responsibilities
3.1 Accurate Information
You agree to provide and maintain accurate information, including:
- Business name, description, and contact details
- Pricing, availability, and service offerings
- Photos, menus, amenities, or experience details
- Policies, restrictions, and requirements
You must promptly update any changes.
3.2 Service Quality
Partners must:
- Deliver services as advertised
- Maintain professional conduct
- Provide safe, lawful, and reliable experiences
- Honor discounts, perks, and benefits offered to Lakebound members
- Communicate clearly with customers
Lakebound may remove partners who fail to meet quality standards.
3.3 Compliance
Partners are responsible for:
- All required licenses and permits
- Insurance coverage appropriate to their services
- Compliance with local, state/provincial, and federal laws
- Health, safety, and environmental regulations
Lakebound does not verify compliance and is not liable for non-compliance.
4. Lakebound Responsibilities
Lakebound will:
- Provide a listing on the Platform
- Offer partner tools based on subscription tier
- Facilitate visibility to travelers and members
- Process bookings (for eligible partners)
- Provide analytics and insights (where applicable)
Lakebound does not guarantee traffic, bookings, or revenue.
5. Subscription Fees & Billing
5.1 Subscription Tiers
Partners may subscribe to one of the following:
- Local Partner ($49–$79/month)
- Featured Partner ($149–$199/month)
- Premium Partner ($299–$399/month)
Features vary by tier and may change over time.
5.2 Billing
- Fees are billed monthly or annually
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
6. Premium Hotel Revenue-Share Tier
Hotels participating in the premium tier agree to:
- Pay a commission (typically 10–15%) on bookings made through Lakebound
- Provide accurate availability and pricing
- Honor upgrades or perks for Lakebound+ members (subject to availability)
Lakebound will remit payouts according to the schedule outlined in the hotel’s onboarding documentation.
7. Discounts, Perks & Member Benefits
Partners offering discounts or perks must:
- Honor the agreed-upon benefit levels
- Apply discounts consistently to eligible members
- Notify Lakebound of any changes at least 30 days in advance
Lakebound may promote partner discounts across the Platform.
8. Bookings & Customer Interactions
8.1 Direct Responsibility
Partners are solely responsible for:
- Delivering booked services
- Customer service and communication
- Cancellations, refunds, and disputes
- Safety and risk management
Lakebound is not a service provider and does not control partner operations.
8.2 Cancellations & Refunds
Partners must clearly communicate their cancellation and refund policies.
Lakebound is not responsible for enforcing or mediating partner policies.
9. Content & Intellectual Property
9.1 Partner Content
By providing content (photos, descriptions, menus, pricing, etc.), you grant Lakebound a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
- Display
- Reproduce
- Modify (for formatting)
- Promote
- Distribute
your content on the Platform and in marketing materials.
You represent that you own or have rights to all submitted content.
9.2 Lakebound Content
All Lakebound branding, guides, itineraries, and platform materials remain the property of Lakebound.
Partners may not copy, modify, or distribute Lakebound content without written permission.
10. Termination
10.1 By Partner
You may terminate your participation at any time by canceling your subscription or requesting removal.
10.2 By Lakebound
Lakebound may suspend or terminate a partner for:
- Violations of this Agreement
- Fraudulent or misleading behavior
- Poor service quality or customer complaints
- Legal or safety concerns
- Non-payment
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lakebound is not liable for:
- Partner actions, omissions, or service failures
- Customer disputes
- Lost revenue or business interruption
- Indirect or consequential damages
Your sole remedy is to discontinue participation in the Partner Network.
12. Indemnification
Partners agree to indemnify and hold Lakebound harmless from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Partner services
- Customer interactions
- Violations of this Agreement
- Legal or regulatory non-compliance
13. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lakebound operates.
Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in that jurisdiction’s courts.
